This is me. What I’m doing is obvious, where I am doesn’t really matter and what it has to do with this site is minimal. I like the picture and that’s all that really matters.
Ernest Hemmingway wrote of journalism that “it is such an important part of the ethics that you should never seem to be working.” I’d like to think I’ve taken that to heart, if only because I so enjoy what I do for a living.
Not to say that it’s easy — anyone in journalism, especially covering sports, knows there are far too many people that take themselves too seriously and make life a pain for the rest of us.
Regardless, it is important to have fun doing what you do. That’s what I try to do and hopefully this site shows off just how much fun I’m having.
